Ashley M. Cardounel
Ashley Cardounel focuses her practice on commercial and civil litigation, including complex business and contract disputes.
Before joining SLG, Ashley was an Assistant Vice President at Barclays Investment Bank, where she worked on the Investigations and Whistleblowing Team and investigated global compliance matters across the investment bank. Before joining the Investigations and Whistleblowing team, Ashley also worked on the eTrading Compliance Team and the Corporate and Investment Banking Compliance team as part of the Compliance Graduate Program, in addition to interning as a Summer Analyst.
While working full-time at Barclays, Ashley attended Fordham University School of Law in the evening division where she concentrated her degree in Intellectual Property and Information Law.
Prior to law school, Ashley also interned as a law clerk at Greenspoon Marder in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and at Weitz & Luxemborg in New York, New York.
Ashley’s educational and professional experience give her a pragmatic, real-world level of business and risk insight that helps inform adaptive strategies in the complex litigation that SLG’s clients have in extensive American courts.
