Peter A. Gwynne is an experienced litigator who is well-versed in corporate issues. He most recently acted as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a Registered Investment Adviser in Manhattan. Prior to that, he served as a trial attorney in the National Courts Section of the Civil Division of the Department of Justice, representing the United States in various matters before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Court of Federal Claims and the Court of International Trade. Pete also practiced complex commercial litigation at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP in Armonk, NY, and Jones Day in Manhattan. In addition to his extensive litigation experience in the commercial sector, Pete was a commissioned officer and aviator in the United States Navy, where he piloted carrier-based search and rescue helicopters.
Pete is a graduate of Yale Law School, Georgetown University and the United States Naval Academy, and is a member of the bars of Connecticut and New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
